I'm Karine, an IP Specialist currently completing my LLM in Intellectual Property Law at University College London on a UCL Global Masters Scholarship. Before London, I spent 4 years at Baker McKenzie Vietnam managing the full spectrum of IP and brand protection work — from enforcement operations, digital anti-counterfeiting, and online brand protection to trademark prosecution, copyright strategy, and data privacy compliance — for 100+ multinational clients across luxury fashion, beauty, hospitality, entertainment, and technology.

I am open-minded, approachable, and genuinely enjoy connecting with IP professionals across different markets. My time at a global law firm shaped the way I communicate, collaborate, and build relationships across cultures.

After completing my LLM in London, I am now open to new challenges and excited to bring my international IP and brand protection experience into a new professional environment. The risk went beyond products ready for sale, as the site also held materials and components indicating an active production chain. I supported the action from pre-raid preparation to execution, including intelligence review, police briefing, and on-site evidence documentation. The raid helped disrupt not only the circulation of counterfeit goods, but also the manufacturing capacity behind the operation.
