Four years protecting global brands in the field.
Now sharpening the edge at UCL.

"Curious enough to say yes. Stubborn enough to figure it out."
I'm Karine, an IP Specialist currently completing my LLM in Intellectual Property Law at University College London on a UCL Global Masters Scholarship. Before London, I spent 4 years at Baker McKenzie Vietnam managing the full spectrum of IP and brand protection work — from enforcement operations, digital anti-counterfeiting, and online brand protection to trademark prosecution, copyright strategy, and data privacy compliance — for 100+ multinational clients across luxury fashion, beauty, hospitality, entertainment, and technology.
I am open-minded, approachable, and genuinely enjoy connecting with IP professionals across different markets. My time at a global law firm shaped the way I communicate, collaborate, and build relationships across cultures.
After completing my LLM in London, I am now open to new challenges and excited to bring my international IP and brand protection experience into a new professional environment. I bring a positive, can-do attitude to new opportunities, and my love for fashion, design, and beauty gives me a natural connection to the brands and creative industries I work with.
Covering the full lifecycle of intellectual property — from registration and prosecution through commercialisation, enforcement, and compliance. Built across 4 years and 100+ clients at Baker McKenzie.
IP is a relationship-driven field. Beyond the desk, I've built connections across global brand protection networks, industry associations, and client communities — from INTA annual meetings to ACG events and firm receptions across London and APAC.
Open to IP Counsel roles, Brand Protection, Copyright, Data Privacy, and Graduate opportunities in IP or commercial law — UK and international.
